Public Pharma

The Partnership for Public Pharma (P3) is an emerging group of scholars, advocates, and policymakers committed to catalyzing a coordinated effort to build public capacity across the pharma value chain so that patients can reliably access essential medicines at affordable prices through accountable public institutions. It is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary space for leaders across advocacy, law, policy, and medicine to share knowledge and coordinate action in support of growing public capacity to ensure access to affordable medicines and increasing public options across the pharmaceutical value chain.

Launched in September 2025, P3 includes independent consultants, civil servants, patient advocates, academics, and members from a range of organizations, including:

• The Health and Political Economy Project at the New School’s Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy (Co-Convener)
• NYU Law School’s Science, Health and Information Clinic (Co-Convener)
• T1International (Co-Convener)
• Economic Security Project
• New York’s #insulin4all chapter
